Exchanging in-game gold for gcoins?

It is finally here...

You will be able to exchange in-game gold for gcoins using a machine called "Coinstar". Much similar to a jackpot machine or slots, be sure to prepare millions of gold to gamble.

As written on the official site:

"
Dear Atlantica Players,
Did you just hit the jackpot underneath your comfy cushion? Do you have a
jar of coins you just don't know what to do with?
Coming this June to a Coinstar machine near you, you'll be able to exchange
your coins for a RixtyCode, which can be exchanged online for Gcoins! So be
sure to frequent these pages for updates!
But for those who already have prepaid RixtyCodes, the Rixty payment option
will be available starting today, May 29, at 3 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
Add funds to your Rixty account by purchasing Rixty prepaid code cards at
participating locations.
To learn more about Rixty purchase methods or to find a Rixty location near
you, visit www.rixty.com. "

I don't know, maybe you will have to throw in 100 million gold to get 1gcoin... Aim for the boxes, perhaps you will get a smoked salmon :)

  1. I don't actually see an option to exchange ingame gold for gcoins from that link you gave.

All I see is a way to convert real-life coins into online currency that can be used in a variety of venues including Atlantica Online.

  2. Why of course, it hasn't been implemented yet. Just wait for the next patch ;)

  3. Coinstar is a real-life coin counting machine, and is what they're talking about. Instead of getting cash out, they're offering (at probably a better rate than if you just got cash) RixtyCodes, which is a way to spend money on online games. Nothing about getting GCoins for in-game gold, sorry. :(
